Raguel possessed maids.
Raguel's daughter Sarah married seven times prior to marrying Tobiah. The demon Asmodeus killed Sarah's first seven husbands before the husbands could consummate their marriage with Sarah. One of Raguel's maids mistakenly believed that Sarah was murdering her husbands and cursed her, telling Sarah to die and wishing for her to never have children.
You are the one who kills your husbands! Look! You have already been given in marriage to seven husbands, but you do not bear the name of a single one of them. Why do you beat us? Because your husbands are dead? Go, join them! May we never see son or daughter of yours!— Tobit 3:8–3:9 (NABRE)
Sarah wept and considered committing suicide. Sarah decided not to commit suicide for her father's sake and instead prayed for God to end her life.
Tobiah and the angel Raphael later arrived at Raguel's house. Tobiah married Sarah with Raguel's consent, and Tobiah freed Sarah from the demon by following Raphael's instructions and through prayer.
Raguel and his servants prepared a grave for Tobiah in case he died like Sarah's previous husbands. Raguel then had his wife Edna sent a maid to check whether Tobiah was still alive. The maid went to check on Tobiah and found that he was still alive. She reported her findings to her masters, and Raguel prayed God and asked God to grant Tobiah and Sarah his protection and mercy.
